Chroma Foundation Sponsors PIDA 2024 Siyuan STEM Creative Competition to Nurture Future Tech Talent

The Chroma Foundation sponsored the 23rd PIDA 2024 Siyuan STEM Creative Competition, organized by the Photovoltaic Industry Development Association (PIDA). This year nearly 50 teams participated, made up of high school students from across Taiwan and Southeast Asia (Vietnam and Malaysia). After the preliminary and semi-final rounds, 16 teams advanced to the grand final on August 3rd. Hsin Kuo Senior High School from Tainan City ultimately clinched the coveted gold medal.

This year's Siyuan STEM Creative Competition was themed "Blue Planet, Our Home", and added an international and diverse element by inviting high school students from Southeast Asian countries as well as Taiwan to form teams and participate.
