Chroma ATE's non-profit Chroma Foundation proudly sponsored Taiwan's "32nd National Eco-Friendly Vehicle Student Competition", jointly organized by SAE Taipei and the Department of Industrial Technology of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. The competition took place on May 18th at the Changhua Automotive Research & Testing Center.

This year, 14 talented teams from 10 vehicle engineering departments across Taiwan participated. Combining theoretical knowhow with practical skills and professional technology, the students and their teachers worked side by side to create eco-friendly vehicles. By integrating energy conservation and carbon reduction principles into their designs, participants not only sharpened their innovative thinking but also produced cars ready to hit the road toward a sustainable future.

Since 2021, in response to the global push for net-zero emissions, the competition has shifted gears to focus exclusively on all-electric vehicles. Participants had to demonstrate expertise in suspension systems, chassis technology, and driving skills to navigate the challenging course designed by SAE's competition committee. The ultimate goal was to uncover fresh talent and inspire the next generation of automotive industry leaders.

Chroma ATE continues to champion tech education through its support of student competitions like this one. By encouraging students to get hands-on with real-world projects, we aim to nurture a new wave of tech professionals poised to bring new ideas and energy into Taiwan's thriving tech ecosystem.
