Chroma Continues to Support "Project Blue" for the Third Consecutive Year to Bolster Sustainability Education ▲ Alex Chuang, Vice Executive Director of the ESG Office at Chroma, sharing Chroma's sustainability initiatives Date April 24th, 2023 For the third consecutive year, Chroma ATE enthusiastically participated in "Project Blue" organized by Taiwanese periodical Business Today. Through its annual beach cleaning initiatives, the company strives to deepen its employees' awareness of the importance of environmental sustainability. This year, the campaign took place on the eve of Earth Day, and Chroma was invited to share its achievements and efforts in environmental sustainability. Environmental Sustainability Education – Taking Root Alex Chuang, Vice Executive Director of the ESG Office at Chroma, emphasized that promoting foundational education on environmental sustainability is one of the core objectives of the Chroma Foundation. Since the company's first participation in beach cleaning activities over four years ago, more than four hundred employees and their families have joined the cause, removing over one ton of marine debris –­ a remarkable result! Inspired by the beach cleaning, employees have started bringing their own eco-friendly cups when getting their morning coffee. The activity also imparted wisdom to the younger participants, leading some to urge their parents to stop using plastic straws!
