Staff Structure

Chroma has been actively recruiting new employees and our application selection process is strictly compliant with the Employment Service Act. We search for most suitable candidates, using a fair and open recruitment channel. Evaluation is based upon competence and unique strength and there is never any bias due to race, gender, religion, nationality, political affiliation, sexual orientation or age.

We insist on the nurture of outstanding talent and in 2019, we hired 243 new employees, a new employment rate of 14.04%. Among our newly hired employees, close to 50% were fresh graduates. We hope that by hiring more young, competent and talented individuals, we will be able to boost our overall efficiency and image which will in turn lead us to higher profit and sustainable operation of the Company.

To ensure a steady influx of new blood into the Company while taking external factors such as the current economy into account, we decided to work towards maintaining a healthy turnover rate between 5% - 10%. Over the past three years, we have worked hard to keep our annual turnover rate down and the fact that it has been steadily falling during this time reflects Chroma’s efforts at talent retention. A reduction of our employee turnover rate remains an important goal for the year. This will in turn create more value for our shareholders and pave the way to an environment that will help employees make the most of their talents. A total of 228 employees left the company in 2019 (including retirees). Among these, 142 resigned voluntarily, 2 were terminated, 6 left due to normal and early retirement and the contracts for 78 foreign workers and other personnel expired. Our turnover rate for the year was 8.67%.
